The Statistics "101 Plan" of the Basic Discipline Series of the Ministry of Education is led by Chen Songxi, Chair Professor at Tsinghua University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who heads a panel of 16 top experts in the field of statistics. The plan involves the participation of 16 "Double First-Class" universities.
The plan focuses on developing 13 first-class core courses and, based on the needs of these courses, organizing the compilation of 23 core textbooks. The textbooks are authored by 23 leading experts, with 14 guiding experts working alongside them to ensure the textbooks are closely aligned with the course content, thereby comprehensively enhancing the teaching standards and talent cultivation quality in the field of statistics.
