The conference on the development of core course textbooks for the Statistics "101 Plan" was held in Xiamen from January 9 to 10. The event was organized by the expert group of the Statistics "101 Plan", and with co-organization by the School of Economics at Xiamen University, the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics at Xiamen University, the Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics at Xiamen University, the Tianyuan Mathematical Center in Southeast China, and the Higher Education Press. Nearly 200 statistics scholars from universities including Peking University, Renmin University of China, Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, Capital Normal University, Nankai University, Northeast Normal University, Fudan University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, University of Science and Technology of China, Xiamen University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Yunnan University, and Southern University of Science and Technology (listed in the order of university codes) attended the conference.
