The Department of Statistics and Data Science at Tsinghua University invites applications for open-rank faculty positions. We seek exceptional candidates in our core research areas: the foundations of Statistics and Data Science, the statistical principles of AI and machine learning, and innovative (statistical) cross-disciplinary research. Position Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or closely related fields, have achieved high-quality research achievements or excellent research potential, and being collegial. For senior positions, we expect an excellent publication record and satisfying teaching performance in current or previous positions.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conducting original and high quality research in Statistics and Data Science, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

2. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at a teaching load of two courses per year.

3. Public Services.
