Academicians Liu Jun and Chen Songxi from the Department of Statistics and Data Science present the appointment letter to Professor Edoardo Maria Airoldi
Recently, the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Tsinghua University has further strengthened its international academic prowess by formally appointing Professor Edoardo Maria Airoldi, the Millard E. Gladfelter Professor at Temple University, USA, and an internationally renowned expert in statistics and data science, as a Distinguished Visiting Professor. An appointment ceremony was held. Professor Edoardo Maria Airoldi is an authoritative scholar in fields such as network data analysis and statistical machine learning, and his research has had broad impact in statistics, machine learning, and interdisciplinary areas. He previously served as the founding director of the Applied Statistics and Data Science Laboratory in the Department of Statistics at Harvard University and has received numerous international academic awards.
