The university recently published the Statistical Analysis Report of Student Questionnaire Surveys on Undergraduate Course Teaching Quality for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year. Several courses offered by the Department of Statistics and Data Science were among the top 5% in the university-wide teaching quality assessment.
Among undergraduate courses：
●Professor Wanlu Deng was named to the list of Faculty in Theoretical STEM Courses Scoring in the Top 5% (Classes with 100+ Students) for her course Elementary Probability Theory.
●Professor Zaiying Zhou was named to the list of Faculty in Theoretical STEM Courses Scoring in the Top 5% (Classes with 30–100 Students) for her courses Linear Regression Analysis and Experimental Design and Analysis, both of which were also ranked among the top 5% of all university-wide courses.
●Professor Wanlu Deng was named to the list of Faculty in Theoretical STEM Courses Scoring in the Top 5% (Classes with 30–100 Students) for her course Introduction to Causal Inference, which was also ranked among the top 5% of all university-wide courses.
In addition, Professor Wanlu Deng was recognized on the student-nominated list of Instructors I Would Recommend to Future Students for her course Elementary Probability Theory.
