Assistant Professor Position

The Center for Statistical Science of Tsinghua University (TCSS) has opening at Assistant Professor position and seeks applicants specialized in the area of statistics. Applicants should have obtained a Ph.D. degree in statistics or closely related fields by the time of appointment.

 
Discipline direction：

• TCSS invites applications for the Assistant Professors in the full spectrum of statistics and data science, including Theoretical statistics, Applied statistics with a focus on big data, and innovative statistical and data-analytical methods for interdisciplinary sciences.

 
Key responsibilities:

• 1.Conducting high quality and original research in any areas of statistics and data sciences, supervising PhD students.
• 2.Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses for 96 class-hours per year.
• 3.Service to TCSS public affairs.

 
Qualification:

• 1.Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in statistics or closely related areas.
• 2.Applicants have achieved high-quality research achievements in statistics and have outstanding academic potentials.
• 3.Excellent publication and teaching records.
• 4.Applicants should have a good spirit of teamwork and open communication.
